Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
Interpret and monitor telemetry rhythms, identifying changes and responding appropriately
Provide skilled nursing care to telemetry, neuro, and med-surg patients
Float between various units and campuses as needed, ensuring seamless patient care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Participate in simulation lab and dysrhythmia testing to ensure competency

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIHSS certification preferred
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred
Ability to titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs
Comfortable floating to different units and campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip titration
Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and unit dynamics
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
