Shift Type: Full-time NOC shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients primarily in the inpatient setting, including adults and neonates
Administer nebulizer treatments, set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator support (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis
Assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
Support level 2 nursery with bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with the lead therapist on every shift to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license
RRT or CRT credential required
Must have NICU experience with strong level 2 nursery skills, including bubble CPAP and care for 32-week neonates
Proficient in ventilator management, BiPAP setup, and ABG draws
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Ability to work independently and assist with intubation as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator management and respiratory equipment
Strong understanding of neonatal respiratory care
Ability to perform and interpret ABGs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to fast-paced inpatient environment
