Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography and stereotactic breast biopsies with precision and care
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort and safety
Maintain and operate mammography equipment following established protocols
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Document patient history and technical details in the electronic medical record system

Qualifications

Registered ARRT in Mammography (R.T.(M))
Texas state license as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography including stereotactic procedures
Current BLS certification
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of mammography and stereotactic biopsy techniques
Proficient in operating digital mammography equipment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of radiation safety and quality control standards
