Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients and their families
Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings using TraceView/PIP, ensuring prompt interventions
Administer and titrate critical medications including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and the healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes
Float to MedSurg and ER as needed, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state required
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience highly valued
Must be adept at reading fetal monitoring strips and using critical thinking skills
Ability to float to other units and adapt to fast-paced changes

Knowledge & Skills

Expert fetal monitoring and interpretation skills
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making
Knowledge of quality metrics and evidence-based practice
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to varying patient acuity and unit demands
