Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead as charge nurse, overseeing resident care and supervising staff
Administer medications accurately and on time
Perform wound care treatments and monitor healing progress
Assess and manage residents with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate documentation in Matrix EMR

Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
Strong charge nurse and leadership skills
Ability to pass medications and perform wound care

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Matrix EMR
Knowledge of LTC regulations and best practices
Medication administration and wound care expertise
Effective communication and team collaboration
Compassionate approach to geriatric patients
