Location: Chandler, Arizona

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG rhythms for neuro patients
Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical neuro patients including craniotomies, spine surgeries, and CVA patients
Perform neurological assessments and document patient status accurately
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with charge nurse, clinical supervisor, and interdisciplinary team
Educate patients and families on neuro conditions and recovery plans

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience within the past 6 months
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam via RELIAS within 48 hours of offer (max 2 attempts)
COVID vaccine required or approved religious/medical declination
Proficiency in sterile field technique

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation skills
Knowledge of sterile field technique
Neuro assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to manage a 1:3-4 patient ratio
