Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed
Operate advanced linear accelerators and imaging equipment
Simulate treatment plans and ensure accurate patient positioning
Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to adjust plans
Monitor patients during treatment and provide compassionate support
Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure safety protocols

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
State licensure to practice in Nebraska
Minimum 1 year of experience as a radiation therapist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
Associate's degree or higher preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in treatment planning systems and linear accelerators
Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance
Excellent patient communication and empathy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical team
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
