Location: Redding, CA

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and independence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapy license required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers - welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
