Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every 3rd weekend, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Manage ventilators, monitor vital signs, and administer medications
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining sterile field
Collaborate with neonatologists and midlevels to develop and implement care plans
Support and educate families through emotional and informational needs
Float to mother-baby and labor care as needed (babies only)

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
BLS, NRP, and Cardiac STABLE certification required
Must be competent in Foley catheter insertion, central line dressing changes, and sterile field
Ability to pass SIMs Lab on these skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Experience with Phillips telemetry
Knowledge of neonatal vents and RT support
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work within a 50-mile radius rule (driver's license is source of truth)
