Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts (no weekends, no holidays)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, focusing on upper extremity injuries such as shoulder repairs, wrist/elbow tendonitis, and fractures.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs to promote recovery.
Document patient progress accurately using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care.
Provide care across acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

Current Oregon Occupational Therapy license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of orthopedic experience, specifically with upper extremity cases preferred
Ability to treat 12 patients per day effectively
Lymphedema training is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in treating upper extremity conditions including shoulder repairs, tendonitis, and fractures
Experience with orthopedic rehabilitation and acute/outpatient settings
Proficient in ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
Strong patient education and communication skills
