Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating; includes at least one weekend per month and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to oncology patients with telemetry monitoring
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, monitoring for adverse reactions
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care
Maintain sterile field during central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of oncology or telemetry experience
Ability to pass pre-employment exam and orientation skills test
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned facilities
Must have natural hair color, no facial piercings; clean-shaven for fit test

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and side effect management
Competent in Foley catheter insertion and sterile technique
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed
