Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate and progressive care to cardiac and vascular patients
Titrate and manage critical drips including amiodarone, nitroglycerin, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiologists
Support the thoracic, EP, cath lab, and structural heart programs
Float to same-level and lower-acuity units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in CVU, ICU, or intermediate care
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must live outside 50 miles from Omaha facility and not employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titrating vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drips
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiac unit
Excellent communication and teamwork
