Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology PCU, med-surg, and trauma patients
Monitor telemetry and titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex infusions (certification preferred)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social work
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Float to med-surg and PCU units as needed to support team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, med-surg, or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome - we offer great support
Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
Driver's license required for submittal

Knowledge & Skills

ACLS and BLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required (or ability to obtain)
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Strong teamwork and communication skills
