Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
• Float across multiple facilities within the Colorado Springs zone to support staffing needs
• Titrate heparin drips and manage patient care with precision
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain flexibility to fill scheduling gaps and adapt to changing patient assignments

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
• Prior neuro experience highly preferred
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state license accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and obtain housing that makes this feasible
• Willingness to work weekends (6-9 per 6-week schedule) and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac, neuro, and medical-surgical nursing
• Proficient in patient assessment, IV therapy, and heparin titration
• Excellent communication and adaptability for floating across different units and facilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
