Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population across MS-Tele, cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
• Float between multiple facilities within Zone 3, adapting quickly to new environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor telemetry, and manage drips including Heparin
• Serve as a reliable resource across units, stepping into charge nurse role when needed
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state required
• Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Neuro experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Flexibility to work weekends (6-9 per 6-week schedule) and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Skill in titration of heparin and other drips
• Assessment and management of cardiac, neuro, post-surgical, and general medicine patients
• Strong adaptability and flexibility for floating across units and facilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams
