Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and one holiday per requirement

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis
Set up and manage BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator support including PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
Administer nebulizer treatments and oxygen therapy
Provide conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Assist with intubations as needed
Care for Level 2 nursery patients including bubble CPAP for 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with lead therapist and healthcare team to ensure optimal respiratory care

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapy License required
RRT or CRT certification required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient respiratory therapy
Strong NICU experience with Level 2 nursery competency required
Experience with ventilator management and setup

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator management (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Skilled in ABG draws and analysis
Knowledge of BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
Experience with conscious sedation and cardioversion
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
