Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced PCU environment
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem and beta blockers
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and manage seizure medications
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Driver's license required for verification of residency

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to titrate and manage multiple drips
Comfortable with a high patient ratio (1:4-5)
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
