Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population including oncology, PCU, and med/surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage titratable drips such as heparin and cardizem
Monitor hemodynamic status and ventilator settings as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure best patient outcomes
Float to med/surg and PCU units as required
Embrace the unit culture of teamwork, respect, and genuine patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications
Chemotherapy certification required
EPIC experience preferred but not mandatory
First-time travelers welcome to apply
Valid driver's license required at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and handling
PCU and med/surg level of care
Trauma nursing basics
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
EPIC electronic medical record system
Strong teamwork and communication skills
