Shift Type: Rotating day/night shifts available: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
Manage patients with common diagnoses such as CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD, and post-operative conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Titrate intravenous drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed
Assist with procedures and patient education for conditions like hip fractures, TURPs, and joint replacements

Qualifications

Valid Oregon RN license (or eligible for OR 90-day emergency license)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Experience in general medical-surgical nursing
Ability to care for adult and occasional pediatric patients

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of common med-surg diagnoses and treatments
Skills in telemetry monitoring and interpreting strips
Ability to titrate drips and manage IV therapies
Strong communication and teamwork skills
