Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring needs
Titrate and monitor critical drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Perform patient assessments, critical thinking, and problem-solving to manage complex cases
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
At least 1 year of PCU experience preferred
Experience with drip titration and cardiac monitoring
Positive attitude, strong communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
Drip titration for critical medications
Continuous EEG monitoring
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Effective communication and problem-solving
