Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population in PCU/IMC settings
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips, including titration of dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amio, and insulin
• Float across multiple units within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different specialties such as cardiac, neuro, oncology, and ortho
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with charge nurses and leadership
• Deliver patient education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
• Prefer prior neuro and Epic experience
• Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in managing cardiac drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, and heparin
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to float and adapt to various unit environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
