Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Operate and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment for optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and safety measures
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation

Qualifications

Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
Current state licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Nebraska
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in treatment planning and delivery techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and equipment calibration
