Location: Moab, UT

Start Date: 06-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts (5x8s), with rotating on-call including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
Ensure patient safety and sterile technique in the operating room
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver seamless care
Respond quickly and accurately in emergency and trauma situations
Manage pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient needs including PACU recovery
Participate in on-call rotations, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN licensure in Utah or compact state
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS within 3 months of hire)
Availability for 7-9 on-call days per month with a 20-minute response time
Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Perioperative nursing principles and patient safety
Aseptic and sterile technique
Pre-op, PACU, and circulating experience preferred
Emergency response and trauma care
Adaptability to rural healthcare setting
