Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up care for acute inpatients at a Level 2 Trauma Center
Conduct communication evaluations and treatment for a diverse patient population
Administer standardized outpatient tests for post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and Head & Neck Cancer patients
Float between St Francis, St Clare, and St Anthony facilities as needed
Collaborate with rehab aides and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and communication assessments
Ability to work independently in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech language pathology for acute care and outpatient rehab
Proficiency in standardized test administration for outpatient evaluations
Strong communication and teamwork skills across multiple facilities
