Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
Operate PET/CT scanners to capture high-quality images
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and adjust protocols as needed
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation safety guidelines

Qualifications

Current ARRT (N) or CNMT certification
Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with PET/CT imaging is preferred but not required
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of PET/CT imaging protocols and radiation safety
Proficient in operating imaging equipment and handling radiopharmaceuticals
Excellent patient interaction and education abilities
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
