Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating schedule including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Circulate and recover C-sections in the OR
Triage patients in the L&D unit with efficiency and compassion
Titrate Pitocin and magnesium sulfate as ordered to ensure safe patient outcomes
Collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive maternal and neonatal outcomes
Care for overflow mastectomy patients when needed, providing overnight stay and discharge education

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent LDRP experience within the last 3 years
Current BLS and NRP certifications
AWHONN intermediate/advanced or C-EFM certification
Experience with triage, circulating and recovering C-sections
Comfortable titrating Pitocin and magnesium sulfate
Travel nursing experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of LDRP nursing procedures
Skill in fetal monitoring interpretation and response
Ability to safely titrate IV medications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to floating within the unit or region if needed
