Shift Type: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (rotating), includes every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to mothers and newborns in a Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit
Manage antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients
Administer common drips such as Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio for optimal care
Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team
Ensure patient safety and adhere to facility policies including fingernail policy

Qualifications

Active RN license
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass an open-book exam during orientation with 90% or above
Valid driver's license required for 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in antepartum, labor, postpartum, and newborn care
Proficiency with IV pumps (Alaris)
Knowledge of common obstetrical medications and drips
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
