Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Lincoln, NE

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; call every other weekend (Friday 7:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM) and rotating weeknight call (7:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, breast biopsies, and NICU imaging
Assist in interventional radiology procedures and OR cases
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain high standards of image quality and patient safety
Participate in call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage
Transport patients when volumes are low to support other modalities

Qualifications

Valid ARDMS certification in Abdomen and/or OB/GYN
Current BLS certification
Experience in breast imaging and procedures
Familiarity with NICU imaging (neonatal heads, kidneys, spine)
Ability to communicate and document effectively with radiologists and providers
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound
Skilled in breast biopsies and interventional procedures
Knowledge of NICU imaging protocols
Experienced with EPIC and McKesson PACS
Competent with Siemens ultrasound equipment
Understanding of sterile technique for procedures
