Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Operate advanced imaging equipment and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards
Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages

Qualifications

Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (if required)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in PET/CT scanner operation and image acquisition
Understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and injection protocols
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to nuclear medicine
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
