Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: NOC shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients
Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and interpret results
Set up and manage bipap and ventilator support
Administer nebulizer treatments and assist with conscious sedation
Stand by for cardioversion and assist with intubations
Care for level 2 nursery patients using bubble CPAP (32 weeks and up)

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license
RRT or CRT certification required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Strong experience with ventilators (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Must have NICU experience with level 2 nursery and bubble CPAP
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and troubleshooting
Neonatal respiratory care and bubble CPAP
ABG draw and analysis
Bipap setup and monitoring
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
