Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (15:00 - 03:00), schedules released every 6 weeks, weekend requirement of 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to diverse patient populations across multiple facilities within the Colorado Springs zone
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for cardiac patients
Administer medications, treatments, and titrate heparin drips as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units and facilities, floating throughout the assigned 60-mile zone

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
Prior neuro experience preferred
Ability to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius
Strong adaptability and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and other medical-surgical patient care
Titration of Heparin drips
Floating and adaptability across units
Patient assessment and critical thinking
