Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $89 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Circulate and recover C-section patients in the operating room
Monitor fetal heart rates and intervene as needed
Float to the postpartum department to support new mothers
Care for newborns during the immediate recovery period
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries

Qualifications

Active California RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Fetal Monitoring certification required
Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing and postpartum care
Skilled in fetal monitoring and interpretation
Competent in C-section circulation and recovery
Ability to care for newborns during the recovery phase
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
