Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple Med-Surg/Telemetry units in Zone 3, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and post-surgical populations
• Monitor cardiac telemetry, titrate heparin drips, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Float between facilities such as OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Anthony North Hospital as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient acuities
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous neuro experience preferred
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius zone
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Proficiency in titrating heparin and managing cardiac drips
• Experience with diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and general surgery
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
• Time management and prioritization skills
