Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), weekends and holidays required, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float within Zone 1 across multiple PCU/IMC units, including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More
Provide comprehensive care for diverse patient populations: cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, bariatrics, trauma, and more
Titrate and manage cardiac drips (Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Amio), insulin, Ativan, and Heparin
Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor for changes in acuity
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt to varying assignments, including Just-In-Time (JIT) scheduling

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and Ativan titration
Prior neuro and Epic experience preferred
Comfortable floating across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac drip management and titration
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced float pool environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
