Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and telemetry patients in a dynamic 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry system
Administer chemotherapy (certification preferred) and manage central lines with sterile technique
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCTs, SWAT RNs, and respiratory therapy
Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed to support team coverage

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted RN license in any state (compact license accepted)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology, telemetry, or med-surg
Chemotherapy certification is a plus
Proficiency in sterile field technique for central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
Must pass the pre-hire DYS exam and day 1 pass/fail skills lab

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
EKG interpretation skills
Experience with Bipap, Cpap, and telemetry monitoring
Competence in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Strong understanding of sterile field and infection control
