Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Develop individualized care plans to help patients regain independence in daily activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapist license
• New grads welcome - we provide mentorship and support
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in geriatric rehabilitation and functional mobility
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Knowledge of Medicare and insurance guidelines for OT services
• Creative problem-solving and patient-centered approach
