Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and personalized home care routines
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient visits
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control protocols are followed
• Create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient, every visit

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Education

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Knowledge of digital radiography and dental software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Excellent patient education and chairside manner
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
