Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilatory support as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient evaluations and responses accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations with confidence

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Washington State
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC preferred
• Previous experience in pediatric or hospital-based respiratory care is a plus
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records
