Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and update care plans
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Previous ICU or critical care experience is a plus
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of critical care nursing principles
• Proficiency with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and ICU equipment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Excellent assessment and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
