Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients of all ages
• Perform dental x-rays and assist in diagnosing oral health conditions
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms to ensure a safe, welcoming environment
• Accurately document patient care and update dental records
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide exceptional dental experiences

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification
• 1+ years of clinical dental hygiene experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental software and patient record management
• Understanding of infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education abilities
