Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis while prioritizing patient comfort and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care techniques
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control standards
• Partner with the dentist and dental assistant to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment provided
• Deliver a welcoming, compassionate experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and periodontal therapy
• Familiarity with dental equipment and instruments
• Proficiency in dental practice management software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Strong patient education and chairside manner
