Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including bracket placement and wire adjustments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas to ensure patient safety
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Guide patients through their orthodontic treatment and answer questions with a smile
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment charts
• Support the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional care

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) welcome, or equivalent experience
• Orthodontic experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain one
• X-ray certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Ability to work evening shifts from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and orthodontic procedures
• Familiarity with dental practice management software, Denticon experience a bonus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to help patients feel at ease
