Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage patient records and update treatment plans
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort throughout visits

Qualifications

• Orthodontic Certification required (must be ortho certified)
• Experience as a dental assistant in an orthodontic setting is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Current CPR certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and X-ray procedures
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interactions
• Proficiency with dental software and record keeping
• Understanding of orthodontic treatment procedures and terminology
