Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized operatory
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and support the flow of the orthodontic practice
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred, but will train the right candidate
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Radiology (X-ray) certification is a plus
- Previous experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is highly valued
- A passion for patient care and a team-player attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Understanding of orthodontic procedures and patient management
- Skill in taking dental X-rays with attention to safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to put patients at ease
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
