Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, thorough dental hygiene care including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Document patient care and update medical histories with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile, organized operatory
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments while ensuring infection control standards are met

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• A caring, patient-first approach
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene best practices and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental X-rays
• Ability to use dental software for charting and documentation
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a dental team
