Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort
- Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene education
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- Certification or training as a dental assistant is preferred (e.g., CDA or DANB)
- Current X-ray certification or ability to obtain one
- Previous experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and appliances
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficiency in dental software for scheduling and patient records
- Strong teamwork and patient interaction skills
