Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for residents
• Develop individualized care plans to improve mobility and function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Maryland (or compact eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in therapeutic exercises and manual therapy
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
