Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, every other weekend, holiday rotation, on-call with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of X-ray and MRI examinations (brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, extremities)
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Operate GE and Toshiba scanners with precision
Collaborate with radiologists and lead tech for high-quality results
Maintain accurate patient records in Radnet and Merge Unity
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Xray Tech
Willingness to float to Mercy Southwest location (approx. 6.5 miles)
Experience with GE and Toshiba equipment
Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of radiographic positioning and anatomy
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
Flexibility to handle rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call
Tech-savvy with EMR and PACS systems
