Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU
Monitor and manage cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes patients
Titrate and manage intravenous drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Participate in continuous EEG monitoring and implement seizure precautions
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Valid driver's license for identification and radius verification
Ability to pass an open-book exam with a 90% score during orientation
No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Proficiency in titration of cardiac and neurological drips
