Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM (includes weekend rotations as per facility needs)

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor patient health and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Alabama
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care facilities
Ability to use electronic health records (EHR) systems
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and facility demands
